Refund Policy

Refunds for payments made via the Payment Gateway are not possible unless one of the following circumstances occurs:

  • A technical error happens when a customer's account is debited excessively or repeatedly during a single transaction.
  • Customers will get a refund less the Payment Gateway fee.
  • Technical fault resulted in a charge being made to the customer's card or bank account even if they were not registered for the same.
  • Customers can register for free at Rarecard Pay.
  • The fees of the payment gateway will be deducted from any refund that the customer requests.
  • Refund requests must contain the transaction number if an original payment receipt was produced during the transaction process. After receiving your request, Rarecard Pay will give you an electronic check for the reimbursed sum within 21 to 25 days.
  • Depending on your bank's restrictions, processing the funds may take 5-7 days.
  • To resolve payment concerns, Rarecard Pay will contact users or customers who have not made payments. If there is a disagreement between a payee and a payer, Rarecard Pay will credit the account of the contesting payer.
  • The account of the disputing recipient cannot be the subject of a dispute involving a direct credit or debit to that account.
  • According to a settlement agreement between the payor and the recipient, Rarecard Pay will manage the money.
  • The payment will be returned in accordance with the agreement if there is a chargeback.

CHARGEBACKS

  • You will be notified if a Facility Provider sends Rarecard Pay a Chargeback Request.
  • You are responsible for Chargeback under the General Terms of Use or any Specific Terms of Use. 
  • Rarecard Pay shall immediately deduct Chargeback Amount from Transaction Amounts upon receipt of a Chargeback Request, subject to funds availability, to either a) process Chargeback in favor of the customer or b) credit You. Rarecard Pay may deduct the Chargeback Amount upon receiving a Chargeback claim. 
  • You may provide Rarecard Pay with documents and information (“Chargeback Documents”) relevant to the Transaction associated with the Chargeback Request to verify (i) its completion and/or (ii) the customer's receipt of goods/services.
  • If You are unable to provide Chargeback Documents or the Facility Provider is not satisfied with Your Chargeback Documents, the Facility Provider may order Rarecard Pay to reverse the debit of the Chargeback Amount associated with the Chargeback and credit it to the customer's Payment Instrument.
  • You agree and acknowledge that Rarecard Pay is entitled to recover the Chargeback Amount from You by deducting it from (i) the Transaction Amounts to be settled to You and (ii) any of Your other funds held by Rarecard Pay in the course of providing the Services. Rarecard Pay may issue a debit note to recover the Chargeback Amount if the Transaction Amounts or other amounts are insufficient. You must repay the Chargeback Amount within 7 (seven) days of receiving the debit note.
